To access your store's checkout page, preview the site, then click the shopping cart icon.
In this video, we’re going to look at how shoppers on your site can add products to their cart—and how you can place that option anywhere on your site, not just on the product page.
By default, every product page includes an Add to Cart button.
That button makes it easy for visitors to add an item to their cart and get ready to purchase.
And if the Add to Cart button ever gets removed by mistake, no worries—you can always bring it back.
Just open the Widgets panel, search for your store-related widgets, and add the button back onto the page.
But what if you want to go beyond the default setup?
What if you want to customize the shopping experience and highlight a product somewhere else—like your homepage, a landing page, or even a blog post?
That’s where Native eCommerce becomes really powerful.
It’s flexible enough to let you build a shopping experience that fits your brand and your layout.
For example, let’s say I want to create a product highlight section on the homepage and allow visitors to add the product directly from there—without needing to navigate to the product page first.
If you try searching for store widgets on a non-store page, you’ll notice something important:
the widget options change depending on the type of page you’re editing.
In other words, you won’t always see the same store widget list outside of store pages.
But there’s a great workaround.
The editor includes a feature called “Add Product to Cart” as a link option.
This lets you take a regular widget—like a button, image, or text—and link it directly to a product so that clicking it adds the product to the cart instantly.
Here’s how it works:
- First, select the widget you want to use—such as a button.
- Next, go to its Link settings, and choose Store Page.
- Then, instead of linking to a product page, change the link behavior to Add Product to Cart.
- Finally, select the product you want to add—and your button is ready.
Now your visitors can add products to their cart directly from anywhere on your site, making the buying experience faster, smoother, and more customized.
