Customize the Why Us section

Step 1: Customize the Section and Background Color 


To style this section:

  1. Replace Background Image of a Column:
  2. Select the first column and in the design panel, go to the Background settings. Then, click Replace Image and select the image: hp-Stefan-workshop-full.png
  3. Set Background Color:
  4. Select the "Why Us?" section.
  5. In the design panel, set the Background color. (ex: set to Dark Brown)
  6. Update Copy:
  7. Update Text Widget Copy: Click on the text widgets in the second column. Replace the existing text with your new copy. Override preset font formatting styles if necessary (ex: set Heading 2 text to White).
  8. Customize Button:
  9. Update Button Design: Click on the button in the second column. In the Button Style property in the design panel, set the Background color to None. In the Button text tab, set the hover font color to Dark Brown.
  10. Update Button Content: Update the button text to reflect your call-to-action (ex: "Get a free quote today")
  11. Adjust Heading Size:
  12. As a finishing touch, adjust the Size settings for the heading text block to match the mockup (ex: set Width to 447px).

In this lesson, we'll focus on customizing the "Why Us?" section of the electrician template.
