It’s important to know that Duda does not host, register or manage domains for your clients. 

Our partners and their clients point their domains directly to the Duda servers using standard DNS settings. Duda will serve up the correct website when a visitor hits a Duda site.


This domain value can be set via the Create site or Update site API call, or you can let your customers connect domains manually.

Important

When configuring a domain:

  • www points to a static CNAME value (usually s.multiscreensite.com)
  • @ records should point to Duda's static IPs

If you choose to have your clients configure their own domains with their hosting providers, feel free to download or embed this unbranded video to help them with this process.

Automatic domain configuration

As an alternative, Duda also offers the ability to allow your clients to purchase custom domains through the publishing flow or implement a tool** that automatically configures domain names your clients already own.

** Be advised: the automatic domain configuration tool is available for an additional fee.
