Understanding the Product Page
The
Product Page lets shoppers view the full details of a single product and add it directly to their cart.
How to Access the Product Page
There are several ways to open a Product Page:
- From the Product Gallery:
Preview your site, then click on any product to view its Product Page. - From the Pages Panel:
Look for the Store Pages section; you’ll find the Product Page listed there. - From the Store Panel:
Navigate to Store Pages inside the Store panel for direct access.
What Makes the Product Page Dynamic
The Product Page is a dynamic page template, meaning it automatically pulls product details from your store’s catalog.
- The template uses one layout for all products.
- The content updates dynamically depending on which product is being viewed.
Dynamic means this is not a one-off, manually built page. Instead, it’s a single template that pulls in content from a data source: Your store’s product catalog.
The template defines the structure and design.
The catalog provides the fields and data that fill it in for each product. This means whether you have
5 products or 500, you never have to build separate pages.
Each product gets its own URL and displays the correct information automatically.
Widgets on the Product Page
You’ll find two types of widgets on the Product Page:
1. Regular Platform Widgets
Examples: Media Gallery, Text widgets.
- These widgets can be added anywhere on the page.
- They require manual connection to a field in the product catalog.
- You’ll recognize them by the icon with two intersecting rings, indicating that they can be connected to data.
2. Store Widgets
Examples: Product Price, Product Options.
- These widgets come pre-connected to the correct product fields.
- Simply drag them onto the Product Page, and they automatically display the right information—no setup needed.
