/PREPARE to build your SELF-SERVICE FLOW
Other considerations
Alright! You’re now at a spot where we’ve talked through a good portion of the critical questions you’ll need to answer before building your flow.
At this point, we’d like to surface some additional factors you might want to consider as you’re kicking off the development. Let’s run through them:
Apps
Giving your clients easy access to 3rd-party apps is a great way to provide additional capabilities your clients may want in their sites.
For example, if your client wants to utilize complex forms to collect information from their clients, or they want to use an app to help them meet accessibility and privacy standards, Duda has relationships with vendors that can provide these kinds of services. You can view the apps available at
https://apps.duda.co/
By default, your clients will not have access to the apps in Duda’s app store.
You have the choice to make the app store visible to your clients and include all the free apps or pick and choose the paid apps you want them to have access to.
The visibility of these apps can be controlled through the API.
Add your technology into the sites you sell with a custom widget
If you plan to embed your own solution into the sites you sell, your best approach is to create a custom widget. Custom widgets are easily reusable across all the sites in your account and can be embedded into the site templates you're offering to your clients.
Custom widgets can be developed from scratch by your developer or you can use Duda's AI Widget Builder and create your app using prompts.
Regardless of the approach you take, the goal is the same: you're giving your clients the ability to surface your solution in their sites so that site visitors can engage with your technology—whatever that may be.

Customer training & support
In order to prevent headaches for your existing support personnel, you’re going to want to plan for how you’re going to educate your clients on the site capabilities you’ve given to them.
Note that Duda provides some unbranded resources that you can use to educate your clients, but you’ll want to have a plan to support your clients who have questions.
In addition, you’ll also want to create a plan for how you’re going to support training your support staff. If you’re open to letting your employees know that your web platform was built with Duda, you can certainly ask your staff to
take courses in Duda University and use Duda’s
documentation portal.
Did you know?
Duda offers
unbranded support documentation and a set of
unbranded videos for you
to use. You can send your clients the documentation link, and even download and brand the videos as your own!
