Connect Business Text to power dynamic site content

In this lesson, we’ll walk through how to make any text block on your site dynamic by connecting it to fields in the Business Text section of the Content Library. You’ll learn how to use existing fields, create your own, and connect them to site elements with ease.

Business Text fields can only be connected to text elements on a widget.

For example, you can connect Business Text to the label of a button, but not to the button’s hyperlink field. If you need to dynamically set links or other non-text values, consider using Collections, which support mapping to other data types.

Add placeholder text to any field you plan to connect—this keeps your layout clean and avoids blank spots on the page.
